Alison Hainsworth (MBBS BSc MD FRCS) is a Consultant Colorectal Surgeon and Pelvic Floor Lead at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. She trained at Imperial College London, with surgical training across the South West Thames region and South Australia.

Her MD thesis explored integrated total pelvic floor ultrasound in defaecatory dysfunction. An active researcher and PhD supervisor at Guy's and St Thomas', she regularly chairs international workshops in pelvic floor imaging and anorectal physiology.

Follow-up appointments are 15 minutes and are designed to review progress, discuss investigation results, or adjust your treatment plan. Video and telephone follow-ups are also available.
